Welcome! About Me

Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog. Let me give you a little background information about myself and why I started this blog.

There is a Japanese Proverb which reads, “When you have completed 95 percent of your journey, you are only halfway there.”

My journey began over 13 years ago when I was first diagnosed with irritable bowel syndrome. It wasn’t long until other ailments began to surface. That list of ailments includes a breast cancer scare at the age of 39, severe allergies, chronic fatigue, depression, excessive weight gain, bloating, increasing systolic blood pressure, recurring infections, unexplained rashes, arthritis and the list goes on and on. I consulted with so many “specialists” in the medical field. The responses I received were, “There is no physical evidence which contributes to your ailment,” “There is no known cure for this condition,” “It is a normal part of aging,” “Everyone has aches and pains, we just have to learn to live with it.”

It wasn’t until a licensed health coach introduced me to what is termed “lectin damage” that everything fell into place. I read the list of conditions which can result from eating foods that are toxic to my blood type and it painted a very vivid picture of me, my life and my troubles. It all made sense and I realized that the damage did not begin 13 years ago but started the day I was born and it took over 30 years for symptoms to really become noticeable. All my frustrations lifted and I had a new sense of hope.

After merely 5 days of eating right for my blood type and eliminating gluten, I saw signs of improvement. I was no longer fatigued, my IBS symptoms had substantially subsided, my mood was lifted, my arthritis was minimal and that terrible bloating no longer existed!

I know there are many others out there who are experiencing the same frustrations I did prior to making the discovery that we are indeed what we eat. Certain foods do make us sick and there actually is a simple solution to turning your life around!

Through this blog, I intend to share with you my learning process and direct you to sources of information and products that will help you through your own personal journey.

We have come so far only to learn that we are only halfway there….
